Espartillar AFC's Isaias Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Argina in the 11th minute of play. If Zeledon Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Isaias Dolcet throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zeledon Argina in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 22 minutes, Melquiades Bermund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espartillar AFC and the SPORTIVO DJL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Espartillar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Bermund to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Argina's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SPORTIVO DJL fully deserved thier win.
