Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiburcio Manny started the match with the kick off. When Zeledon Markel fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laprida's protests and gave Zeledon Markel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Laprida getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Zeledon Markel hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Diego Lluis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Tartalo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the game, Alonzo Gonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guillote Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laprida the free kick. A collision led to Guillote Football Club getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alonzo Gonzo hit a great ball. Cristian Lekubegi kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Esteve Urtungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Manny in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Guillote Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Flor to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Manny in the 21st minute of play. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Cristian Lekubegi with Sergio Calvino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Diego Lluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Lluis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Pastor Tartalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 33 minutes, Florencio Tauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laprida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Tauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Laprida's goalkeeper Pastor Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Cordarrell. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laprida's goalkeeper Pastor Tartalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Guillote Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Gonzo. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Lluis made a kick off. Edgardo Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Pastor Tartalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guillote Football Club. In the 57th minute, Guillote Football Club's Cesar Licerio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cesar Licerio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Guillote Football Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesar Licerio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Laprida's Cristian Lekubegi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Esteve Urtungo. When Diego Lluis came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Guillote Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Lluis couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Diego Lluis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pastor Tartalo. Laprida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Lluis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Manny in the 83rd minute of play forced Guillote Football Club's goalkeeper Esteve Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laprida's Pastor Tartalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Cordarrell in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Flor during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingos Flor hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
