Victorio Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lisandro Txaran fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casana's protests and gave Lisandro Txaran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cornurbano FC booed when Casana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Robustiano Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cornurbano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Blas Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cornurbano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Jerrald couldn't finish the play. After having played for 27 minutes, Cipriano Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Quintan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aureliano Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Quintan in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Gervasio Muno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorio Vidal. Casana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Muno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Gervasio Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Cipriano Quintan made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Aureliano Innocenzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Victorio Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Benino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Blas Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aureliano Innocenzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
