Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorio Bras started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Rafael Paez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Byron Bay City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simbolar FC the free kick. After 3 played minutes Byron Bay City got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Paez. The Byron Bay City fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Byron Bay City's Honorio Bras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Perrando in the 18th minute of play forced Byron Bay City's goalkeeper Alsan Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alsan Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Silviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Silviano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alsan Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Cesar Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Enol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Aires having to interfere. Honorio Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Angelo Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Christian Enol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Byron Bay City and the Simbolar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Byron Bay City's Christian Enol got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Soin during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Ismael Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alsan Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Perrando in the 55th minute of play. Cesar Perrando's late challenge caught a Byron Bay City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Perrando helped the player get up and apologised. Cesar Perrando kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Rafael Paez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Aragones's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angelo Aires firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Angelo Aires managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Byron Bay City's Honorio Bras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Alsan Koehler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Silviano's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes, Aureliano Celino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Byron Bay City and the Simbolar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aureliano Celino hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Alsan Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Perrando scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alsan Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Edelmiro Aragones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Aires was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Byron Bay City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
