The delsco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Santos Darien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Millan in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Palban in the 18th minute of play forced delsco's goalkeeper Jesus Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in delsco's zone, Fulgencio Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Guzman came out of the goal and Fulgencio Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Alejandro Palban notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of delsco's Jesus Guzman. Jesus Guzman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Siro Ranolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. delsco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liebig AFC the free kick. Fulgencio Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Guzman having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Palban couldn't finish the play. delsco's Jesus Guzman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Tipi in the 44th minute of play. Fulgencio Tipi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Guzman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Lain to make the kick off. Fulgencio Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jesus Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61stth minute of the game Fulgencio Tipi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but delsco's Jesus Guzman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Liebig AFC's Alejandro Palban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Guzman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, delsco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Guifre to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jesus Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alejandro Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Tipi in the 73rd minute of play forced delsco's goalkeeper Jesus Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Guzman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Tipi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of delsco booed when Liebig AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Vergaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, delsco's goalkeeper Jesus Guzman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Carlomagno. If Alejandro Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, delsco's Jesus Guzman got control of the ball when Alejandro Palban tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alejandro Palban came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Liebig AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Palban couldn't finish the play. Fulgencio Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
