Alfredo Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Henry in the 6th minute of play. Amadeo Quinton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Amato's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Eugenio Lehior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Amato in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Quinton saved Mascota AFC from getting behind. Mascota AFC's Amadeo Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Henry in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Amato in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Quinton saved Mascota AFC from getting behind. Eugenio Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gabriel Quilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Amato in the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Rigoberto Mel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tonono and the Mascota AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tonono getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rigoberto Mel hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Mascota AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Lleir to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Amadeo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Quinton having to interfere. Cleto Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Eugenio Lehior made the kick off in the second half. Mascota AFC's Gabriel Quilo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tonono's Alfredo Erroman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Lehior in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mascota AFC's goalkeeper Amadeo Quinton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match, Pedro Amato tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeo Quinton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Amadeo Quinton managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Tonono's Cleto Henry fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 60 minutes into the match Cleto Henry climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Amadeo Quinton. In the 66th minute, Gabriel Quilo made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Erroman. Tonono's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Henry in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Quinton saved Mascota AFC from getting behind. Amadeo Quinton made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Cleto Henry sent off a good shot on target. Cleto Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Tonono's Cleto Henry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Quinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute Pedro Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Vicente Refugio made a precise shot to the right of Amadeo Quinton. Mascota AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Tonono supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tonono would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
