The referee ignored Andalhualá AFC's protests and gave Silvestre Jerold a yellow card for diving instead. If Godfredo Vigil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Godfredo Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunners F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Andalhualá AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Luis Mendebal hit a great ball. Bartolo Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Germano Fontano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Valentin Lenci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valentin Lenci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Vigil in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Lucado saved Andalhualá AFC from getting behind. Luis Mendebal's late challenge caught a Gunners F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Mendebal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Luis Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andalhualá AFC's Inocencio Lucado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Vigil in the 44th minute of play. Godfredo Vigil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Lucado having to make a save. In the 47th minute, Valentin Lenci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Lucado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Gunners F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Vigil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Germano Fontano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunners F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfredo Vigil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Lucado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 92 in the game by Valentin Lenci from a close distance when the talented Inocencio Lucado managed to make a qualified save. Andalhualá AFC's players were relieved. Valentin Lenci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Inocencio Lucado made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, one of Andalhualá AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
