An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Venerando in the 2nd minute of play forced Gunners F.C's goalkeeper Germano Fontano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gunners F.C defense, Osvaldo Donzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Fontano. The Gunners F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Fontano should have stopped the shot. Faustino Ciano hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Donato Urti struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Rogelio Luzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunners F.C. 11 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Donzel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germano Fontano. Gunners F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Donzel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Pablo Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Rogelio Luzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Vigil in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Gunners F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Lenci to maneuver through the defense. Germano Fontano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Venerando's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Pablo Venerando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunners F.C's Germano Fontano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Rogelio Luzea got control of the ball when Valentin Lenci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladislao Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gunners F.C's goalkeeper Germano Fontano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Fontano having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Donzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Fontano was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Germano Fontano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Donzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Venerando to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Pablo Venerando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Fontano was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The supporters of Gunners F.C booed when LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Donato Urti sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Rogelio Luzea didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners F.C's zone, Osvaldo Donzel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Fontano came out of the goal and Osvaldo Donzel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Osvaldo Donzel came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Donzel couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Lekubegi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Osvaldo Donzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germano Fontano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Venerando in the 85th minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Cayetano Cordarin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunners F.C and the LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Gunners F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Cordarin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Donzel got free with Germano Fontano in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cayetano Cordarin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Pablo Venerando made a precise shot to the right of Germano Fontano. Gunners F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
