After 13 played minutes Ingenieros got a freekick which was hit by Angel Hanni. After 15 minutes Ingenieros's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teodoro Rosalio who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Sixto Etxekopar advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, AcuñA's Aquiles Lartaun got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dadá Vinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Etxekopar's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Lázaro Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Ciano in the 30th minute of play. Sixto Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Vinhas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sixto Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. AcuñA's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Vinhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of AcuñA booed when Ingenieros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Angel Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Sixto Etxekopar made a precise shot to the right of Dadá Vinhas. Ingenieros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Etxekopar made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jesus Sadurni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Teodoro Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Dantae took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dadá Vinhas. Ingenieros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Ciano during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AcuñA booed when Ingenieros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Teodoro Rosalio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dadá Vinhas skillfully saved the ball. Ingenieros's Dadá Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Rosalio in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Aquiles Lartaun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dadá Vinhas. Ingenieros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Lartaun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ingenieros's Dadá Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ingenieros from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Sixto Etxekopar could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Dadá Vinhas however easily saved by the left post. Sixto Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dadá Vinhas made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Sixto Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. Lázaro Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Ciano in the 80th minute of play. When Cleto Arotza fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ingenieros's protests and gave Cleto Arotza a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AcuñA booed when Ingenieros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Rosalio, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Etxekopar got free with Dadá Vinhas in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to AcuñA getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Teodoro Rosalio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ingenieros's Dadá Vinhas got control of the ball when Sixto Etxekopar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Ingenieros supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AcuñA's performance. The match ended with a win for AcuñA.
