Eustacio Abechuco took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Hulberto. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Euloxu to strike the kick off in the second half. Igor Precioso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ruben Furman made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Odol in the 55th minute of play forced Ballesteros's goalkeeper Reynaldo Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ballesteros's Reynaldo Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Odol in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Vicente Euloxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimeno Osmundo's late challenge caught a Ballesteros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Osmundo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ballesteros booed when Defensores del Tano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Joel Odol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Hulberto. Ballesteros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Odol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 78 minutes, Silvio Haimar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Tano and the Ballesteros players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Defensores del Tano got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Haimar. In the 81st minute of the match, Vicente Euloxu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruben Furman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cesar Gaxan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Reynaldo Hulberto, a very annoying self made goal in the 88th minute which led to 8-0. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Ruben Furman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ballesteros's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
