Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hector Valery made the kick off and thus started the match. When Gelu Vulpăşin fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sp. Mecanica Destructora's protests and gave Gelu Vulpăşin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Sp. Mecanica Destructora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Vulpăşin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jesus Harkaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Harkaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Hector Valery dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eleuterio Dabi, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Valery in the 13th minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Dabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Independiente FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Segundo Ermano hit a great ball. Flavio Oriche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Independiente FC's Jesus Harkaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Independiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Ermano. Eleuterio Dabi was a little too slow when Hector Valery got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. After 37 minutes, Evaristo Frans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sp. Mecanica Destructora and the Independiente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sp. Mecanica Destructora getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Hector Valery hit a great ball. With 46 minutes on the clock, Isidoro Lertxun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 47th minute, Isidoro Lertxun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Flavio Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Jerrold in the 53rd minute of the match. Benito Jerrold struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Flavio Oriche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente FC. 58 minutes into the game, Sp. Mecanica Destructora's Hector Valery nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Dabi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Valery in the 65th minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Dabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Hermelando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Dabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Valery in the 70th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes, Sp. Mecanica Destructora's Esteban Pierres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleuterio Dabi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sp. Mecanica Destructora reached it. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Generoso Jerrald got a free kick in the 76th minute. Carolo Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Oriche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Sp. Mecanica Destructora booed when Independiente FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Harkaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Independiente FC defense, Hector Valery kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Dabi. The Independiente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Dabi should have stopped the shot. Flavio Oriche was a little too slow when Benito Jerrold got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 5-1. In the 97th minute, Segundo Ermano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Independiente FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
