Flavio Oriche had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Orlando Xabat's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Valery in the 14th minute of play forced Rawson FC's goalkeeper Victorino Bizi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lázaro Cesario hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Carmelo Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Xabat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Oriche. Sp. Mecanica Destructora's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 27 played minutes Sp. Mecanica Destructora got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Joey. If Cirilo Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Hector Valery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sp. Mecanica Destructora's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Valery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Bizi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rawson FC's Victorino Bizi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Rawson FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Valery in the 43rd minute of play forced Rawson FC's goalkeeper Victorino Bizi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 59th minute Ambrosio Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Bizi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sp. Mecanica Destructora's goalkeeper Flavio Oriche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cirilo Isias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Oriche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Victorino Bizi came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Sp. Mecanica Destructora's Ambrosio Hermelando. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Hermelando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 75 minutes into the match, Sp. Mecanica Destructora's Hector Valery sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Bizi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ambrosio Hermelando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Bizi was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After having played for 79 minutes, Ambrosio Hermelando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sp. Mecanica Destructora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Hermelando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Valery's late challenge caught a Rawson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Valery helped the player get up and apologised. Flavio Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Isias in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rawson FC's zone, Ambrosio Hermelando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Bizi came out of the goal and Ambrosio Hermelando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorino Bizi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Valery in the 90th minute of the match. Victorino Bizi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
