In the 8th minute of the match Augusto Argi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pepe Santoro skillfully saved the ball. Rodrigo Lluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Adolfo Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Franco Arrugueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yuto AFC's Pepe Santoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabricio Chale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Handi in the 21st minute. With an all-out effort, Yuto AFC's Fabricio Chale threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adolfo Palos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cirilo James struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fabricio Chale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuto AFC. Medanitos FC's Fabricio Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Pere in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Franco Arrugueta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Santoro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Adolfo Palos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes, Medanitos FC's Rodrigo Lluis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pepe Santoro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Medanitos FC reached it. Cirilo James could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Fabricio Chale made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Bruhn in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Santoro saved Yuto AFC from getting behind. Franco Arrugueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Palos made a kick off. Pepe Santoro made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Emil Bruhn sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Pere in the 56th minute of play forced Medanitos FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Palos in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Argi during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabricio Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Handi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Adolfo Palos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Medanitos FC's Fabricio Chale. Fabricio Chale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute Arnoldo Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Chale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Pere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Pere in the 89th minute of play forced Medanitos FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Medanitos FC defense, Gavino Handi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Chale. The Medanitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Chale should have stopped the shot.
