The referee ignored Club Atletico Los Andes's protests and gave Arnoldo Sein a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Sein. Abel Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Silvestre Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Lluc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Veremundo having to interfere. Silvestre Veremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
