The supporters of Magical Beings F.C. booed when Laprida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Sabin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hunfredo Solar. Ermegildo Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Adolfo Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magical Beings F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Sabin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

After some careless play in the Laprida AFC defense, Ermegildo Cordarryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filiberto Sabin. The Laprida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filiberto Sabin should have stopped the shot. 56 minutes into the game, Ceferino Solustiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magical Beings F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laprida AFC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Magical Beings F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Solustiano. Filiberto Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Cordarryl in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Chan in the 61st minute of play forced Laprida AFC's goalkeeper Filiberto Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Cordarin's late challenge caught a Magical Beings F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Cordarin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Laprida AFC's Ulises Cordarin got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Chan in the 95th minute of play forced Laprida AFC's goalkeeper Filiberto Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Magical Beings F.C. had won after a very even match.
