Aurelio Bidari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eliseo Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Gonnet got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Austin. 20 minutes into the match, Gonnet's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Napier came free, but Braulio Frances reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Frances having to interfere. Fabio Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mateo Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored atencio FC's protests and gave Mateo Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to atencio FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mateo Dominic hit a great ball. Cipriano Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Celestino Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Eneto having to interfere. Celestino Soter hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Braulio Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Napier in the 35th minute of play. Celestino Soter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, atencio FC's Eliseo Napier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Frances made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Gonnet getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cleto Austin hit a great ball. If Eliseo Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half atencio FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Julio Cayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Frances having to interfere. If Julio Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gonnet booed when atencio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Napier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Braulio Frances made a huge save. atencio FC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Gonnet's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Rafel took the corner. The corner led atencio FC's Elpidio Acosta to fire away a dangerous shot which Braulio Frances despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eliseo Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Mateo Dominic came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the atencio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Dominic couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Julio Cayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Braulio Frances. That made the score 0-2 in the 80 minute of play. Nestor Eneto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Soter in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonnet's goalkeeper Braulio Frances, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to atencio FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Juan Rafel hit a great ball. When Hermengildo Damario fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored atencio FC's protests and gave Hermengildo Damario a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, one of atencio FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Gonnet. Cleto Austin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nestor Eneto. 1-2. When the final whistle sounded atencio FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gonnet.
