With his leg Gabriel Berriotxoa managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Gonnet's Celestino Soter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 18 minutes, Feliberto Hernando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gonnet and the Rancul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Gonnet got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Hernando. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Laurgain in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Frances prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Celestino Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonnet's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Soter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Berriotxoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Casimiro Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Celestino Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonnet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Soter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Alfonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Frances having to make a save. Hipolito Alfonso scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Frances, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Gonnet's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Alfonso came free, but Braulio Frances reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Fabio Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Alfonso in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Frances prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Hipolito Alfonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braulio Frances. Gonnet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Alfonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Fabio Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gonnet players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rancul were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Joseph to make the kick off. Braulio Frances was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermengildo Laurgain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 53 minute of play. Gabriel Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Soter, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Hipolito Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Arnaldo Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Frances showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Laurgain, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Braulio Frances took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Braulio Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonnet's Braulio Frances proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Gonnet from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Frances having to interfere. The Gonnet supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rancul's performance. The match ended with a win for Rancul.
