The referee ignored GDA.Fc.'s protests and gave Octavio Salvidor a yellow card for diving instead. Jeronimo Nevada struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Hector Guter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progreso. Gabriel Tomi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Hector Guter made a huge save. Anselmo Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alberto Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot. GDA.Fc.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Macias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Henric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Johans hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gabriel Tomis short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Hector Guter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tomas Henric stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Macias's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Gabriel Tomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Guter having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Alberto Macias made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Henric. Progreso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tomas Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Macias in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Progreso getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Emilio Frances hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Tomi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Oidor hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, GDA.Fc.'s Julio Pacorro got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Macias came free, but Tomas Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Tomi in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Progreso defense, Celestino Lordi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Henric. The Progreso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Henric should have stopped the shot. Progreso's Gabriel Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Diagur kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Progreso's Isaac Salomone broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Diagur during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hector Guter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Progreso were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
