When Chacarita Juniors's Dionisio Chaime in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Vencedores-Vencidos... and the Chacarita Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Vencedores-Vencidos... was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Ponciano to maneuver through the defense. After 7 minutes, Arturo Karlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vencedores-Vencidos... and the Chacarita Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Hugo Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chacarita Juniors's Rigoberto Baumar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Juniors from getting a goal against them. If Gabriel Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Chacarita Juniors's Gabriel Guillelme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Otsoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 40th minute, Hugo Feliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Matro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Xacintu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Vincent got free with Rigoberto Baumar in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Nestor Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Baumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Guillelme made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vencedores-Vencidos...! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Vincent in the 57th minute of play forced Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Vencedores-Vencidos...'s Hugo Feliz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Baumar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gabriel Guillelme came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chacarita Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Guillelme couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Dionisio Chaime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Guillelme in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Otsoa saved Vencedores-Vencidos... from getting behind. A collision led to Chacarita Juniors getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dave Cirigliano hit a great ball. Nestor Oskitz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rigoberto Baumar. Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Feliz in the 74th minute of play forced Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Rigoberto Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Otsoa was a little too slow when Dionisio Chaime got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. Hugo Feliz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rigoberto Baumar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vencedores-Vencidos.... Vencedores-Vencidos...'s Paolo Otsoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Vencedores-Vencidos... from getting a goal against them. When Damaso Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita Juniors's protests and gave Damaso Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Xacintu. Hugo Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rigoberto Baumar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
