Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Valcheta's Flavio Orain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baldomiro Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ruperto Paul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Uriel Pietro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruperto Paul. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. If Ruben Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Pietro in the 13th minute of play forced Valcheta's goalkeeper Ruperto Paul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Flavio Orain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valcheta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Orain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 played minutes Rafael Calzada got a freekick which was hit by German Frisco. The supporters of Valcheta booed when Rafael Calzada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Haritzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Orain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacinto Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruperto Paul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jacinto Haritzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Garin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Haritzeder ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Ruben Fortun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Pietro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damaso Xabat made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacinto Haritzeder. Ruperto Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Pietro in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Rafael Calzada's Uriel Pietro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Paul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Valcheta's Jacinto Haritzeder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Garin. That made the score 2-1 after 67 minutes of play. In the 72nd minute of the game Bernardino Ekialde made a throw-in which Ruben Fortun played forward. In the 74th minute, Uriel Pietro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rafael Calzada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Baldomiro Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute of the match, Flavio Orain tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adolfo Garin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jacinto Haritzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Orain in the 92nd minute of play forced Rafael Calzada's goalkeeper Adolfo Garin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Uriel Pietro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Rafael Calzada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Pietro couldn't finish the play. Rafael Calzada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valcheta for a fine match.
