The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Cortez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Restu in the 28th minute of play forced La Roulette de Zizou's goalkeeper Benigno Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Luisito Martino put in a rough tackle. Jacinto Iyan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. Vodka Juniors's Adolfo Satordi suffered a sore knee after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ermegildo Gagriel charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Gagriel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ermegildo Gagriel hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Vodka Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
