When Armando Jenaro fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antilla's protests and gave Armando Jenaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Armando Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Jacinto Iyan in the 6th minute really tested Oscar Constancio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Siro Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Txomin having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Adolfo Nayely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Txomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes in the game, Siro Bernaldo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Severiano Mazuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Txomin having to interfere. In the 24th minute Anier Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Constancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Adolfo Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Siro Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Vodka Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Mazuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Txomin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. When Vodka Juniors's Anier Restu in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Antilla's goalie prevented a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siro Bernaldo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vodka Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Bernaldo came free, but Saul Txomin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Antilla's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Restu came free, but Oscar Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Satordi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Severiano Mazuste might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Txomin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Mazuste ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 61 minutes, Severiano Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Mazuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Domingo Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vodka Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antilla the free kick. A collision led to Vodka Juniors getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Domingo Thomas hit a great ball. Severiano Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vodka Juniors's Saul Txomin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Vodka Juniors from getting a goal against them. Severiano Mazuste who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Saul Txomin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Severiano Mazuste came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Antilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Mazuste couldn't finish the play.
