Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 6 played minutes Instituto de Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by Santos Petrigai. When Lorenzo Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mataderos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Jatsu couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Nayely got free with Almir Pernambucano in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Machado took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Sanson. Herminio Sanson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A long shot from Ivan Chaime in the 22nd minute of play was well struck, but Almir Pernambucano made a really good save at the right post. In the 28th minute, Gregorio Machado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Instituto de Cordoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Gregorio Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Sanson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Abel Patxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Teo Nayely lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Almir Pernambucano. After the first half Instituto de Cordoba were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Jatsu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Almir Pernambucano saved Instituto de Cordoba from getting behind. Herminio Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Millrick in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Oidor during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Instituto de Cordoba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Mataderos FC a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vinicio Michael, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Instituto de Cordoba's Almir Pernambucano. 2-3. 66 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's Teo Nayely sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Pernambucano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teo Nayely took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almir Pernambucano. Almir Pernambucano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Almir Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Nayely's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 83 played minutes, Mataderos FC's Ismael Abaunza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almir Pernambucano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mataderos FC reached it. Almir Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Jatsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Lorenzo Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Jatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Nayely in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almir Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Gregorio Machado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herminio Sanson, 3-4. In the 99th minute of the match Eustaquio Abascal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Sanson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Although Mataderos FC had been in control for most of the match, Instituto de Cordoba still came away with the win.
