Banachsoft FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Christobal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Jaunzuria hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Guillermo Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Min kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Instituto de Cordoba getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arturo Suarez hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Banachsoft FC's Guillermo Christobal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Pernambucano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Guillermo Christobal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almir Pernambucano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Leocadio in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Almir Pernambucano saved Instituto de Cordoba from getting behind. The supporters of Banachsoft FC booed when Instituto de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Min didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Guillermo Christobal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Banachsoft FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Almir Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Christobal's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Instituto de Cordoba getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Leonardo Raymundo hit a great ball. When Rodolfo Leocadio came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Banachsoft FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Leocadio couldn't finish the play. When Leo Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banachsoft FC's protests and gave Leo Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Leo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Leocadio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Almir Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Millrick was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Banachsoft FC's Rodolfo Leocadio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Pernambucano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Banachsoft FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nemesio Gabino in the 58th minute. The corner led Banachsoft FC's Nemesio Gabino to fire away a dangerous shot which Almir Pernambucano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agustin Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Rodolfo Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Jaunzuria charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Jaunzuria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Banachsoft FC booed when Instituto de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Jaunzuria didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Millrick in the 74th minute of play forced Banachsoft FC's goalkeeper Agustin Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Christobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Almir Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Instituto de Cordoba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Banachsoft FC:s goal. 85 minutes into the match, Nemesio Gabino notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Instituto de Cordoba's Almir Pernambucano. Almir Pernambucano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Instituto de Cordoba's zone, Guillermo Christobal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir Pernambucano came out of the goal and Guillermo Christobal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almir Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Christobal in the 99th minute of the match. When the match was over Banachsoft FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Instituto de Cordoba throughout the match.
