Godofredo Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Alvarez in the 9th minute of the match. After 11 minutes, Santos Etxekopar made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barrealito's Aquilino Ondino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Clemente Ferdinand left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrealito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Cayetano Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Clemente Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match, Santos Etxekopar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aquilino Ondino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aquilino Ondino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Etxekopar in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Alvarez in the 44th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Godofredo Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Giro having to interfere. If Cayetano Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Santos Etxekopar made the kick off in the second half. Celestino Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Ondino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Etxekopar in the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Cesar Ramond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Bertin during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico River Plate's Teo Bertin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Club Atletico River Plate's Celestino Quinteros got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Clemente Ferdinand got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cayetano Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrealito players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico River Plate.
