Club Atletico River Plate's Godofredo Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Jaunti in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Elpidio Enol made a precise shot to the right of Godofredo Giro. Club Atletico River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Dalmacio Jaunti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godofredo Giro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Estrugamou FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santos Etxekopar 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. If Dalmacio Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Aureo got free with Elpidio Amato in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Dalmacio Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrugamou FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Giro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Giro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Jaunti's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Elpidio Amato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Etxekopar in the 54th minute of the match. Estrugamou FC's Silverio Mosen got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Estrugamou FC's Silvestre Abalos got a free kick in the 60th minute. Club Atletico River Plate's Godofredo Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Enol in the 65th minute of play. If Celestino Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico River Plate's Americo Garoa got a free kick in the 79th minute. Elpidio Amato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Etxekopar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Celestino Quinteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Amato having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atletico River Plate fans cheered their team off the field, for while Estrugamou FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
