Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Bero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Rodrigo Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Abechuco took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Abaunza. Conrado Abaunza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 18th match minute, Arequito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Jerold to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Abaunza came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzalez Catan's Rodrigo Bero. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Bero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Osvaldo Andrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Oidor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Bero in the 24th minute of play forced Arequito AFC's goalkeeper Conrado Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Cyril Villeret cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Baldomero Oidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baldomero Oidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Gonzalez Catan's goalkeeper Baldomero Oidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Mikeldi. Baldomero Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Martxel in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Gonzalez Catan's goalkeeper Baldomero Oidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Mikeldi. Baldomero Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Andrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arequito AFC's Reynaldo Martxel got a free kick in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Bero in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Abaunza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the game, Cyril Villeret recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomero Oidor. Cyril Villeret showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Martxel was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Bartolo Elorri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arequito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gonzalez Catan the free kick. A collision led to Arequito AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bartolo Elorri hit a great ball. Conrado Abaunza came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzalez Catan's Nemesio Abechuco. But to his dismay, Nemesio Abechuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Roberto Jerold kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Martxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Oidor was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Arequito AFC's Andres Mikeldi got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Arequito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Soter came free, but Conrado Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Tabby lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 76 played minutes Gonzalez Catan got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Tabby. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Andres Mikeldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arequito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Mikeldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Oidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Gonzalez Catan's Artemio Gonsalve got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Conrado Abaunza. In the 85th minute, Marciano Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gonzalez Catan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
