But to his dismay, Ezequiel Mannie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jimeno Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Balint having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Casado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TrigalesFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bluestones the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Bluestones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Cilio to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Gorri hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. TrigalesFC's David Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Domeka in the 45th minute of play.

After a rather tough play, TrigalesFC's Tadeo Lohitzun got a free kick in the 50th minute. Edgard Cilio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bluestones's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jimeno Henric was slow to take the kick. During this time TrigalesFC's players had a chance to rest. 61 minutes into the game, TrigalesFC's Ezequiel Mannie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Balint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The referee ignored Bluestones's protests and gave Edgard Cilio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TrigalesFC booed when Bluestones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Cilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Henric's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Balint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Elvio Domeka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but David Daunte made a huge save. Saul Aires was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in TrigalesFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Ezequiel Mannie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute of the match Epifanio Belmiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Daunte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
