Lanus MdP's Evelio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Salomone in the 9th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, BELGRANO CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Segio came free, but Horacio Checa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes, Alberto Ikatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BELGRANO CBA and the Lanus MdP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes BELGRANO CBA got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Ikatz. 24 minutes into the match, Alberto Ikatz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evelio Bidari. Lanus MdP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Ikatz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. BELGRANO CBA's Horacio Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Segio in the 28th minute of play. Jesus Gonchan's late challenge caught a Lanus MdP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Gonchan helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the match, Honorato Giro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Checa. BELGRANO CBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorato Giro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Evelio Bidari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Isidor in the 40th minute. Honorato Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Checa having to interfere. When Amancio Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Lanus MdP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Figueroa couldn't finish the play.

Evelio Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Gonchan in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of BELGRANO CBA booed when Lanus MdP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Salomone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evelio Bidari having to make a save. If Ivan Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lanus MdP's Evelio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Gonchan in the 68th minute of play. Evelio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Evelio Bidari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorato Giro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Horacio Checa made a huge save.
