Jorge Vitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Botija's Emilio Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Ciano in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Leonardo Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Leocadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Emilio Gartzen made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Janssen's Celestino Ciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Gartzen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Albino Iruinea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Vitin having to make a save. In the 24thth minute of the game Jacinto Niva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arnoldo Janssen's Jorge Vitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonardo Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jorge Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Benigno Ishmael could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Emilio Gartzen however easily saved by the left post. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arnoldo Janssen! The referee gave Botija a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anibal Cebrian, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arnoldo Janssen's Jorge Vitin. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Leocadio got free with Emilio Gartzen in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A beautiful save bye Arnoldo Janssen's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Leocadio to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Botija's Jacinto Niva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Vitin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esteban Txomin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Victor Lalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnoldo Janssen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Lalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteban Txomin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Gartzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Lalla in the 73rd minute of the match. Jorge Vitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Txomin in the 74th minute. Ubaldo Leocadio took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Gartzen. Emilio Gartzen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Benigno Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jorge Vitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botija. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Niva in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Vitin saved Arnoldo Janssen from getting behind. Jonathan Balasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jorge Vitin made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Esteban Txomin made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Vitin. Arnoldo Janssen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The supporters of Arnoldo Janssen booed when Botija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Niva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Gartzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Leocadio in the 94th minute of the match. If Jacinto Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
