Bonifacio Lain might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Isauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Lain ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Racing de Bavio's Saturnino Manex got a free kick in the 19th minute. Bonifacio Lain in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rogelio Isauro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Racing de Bavio's Rogelio Isauro got control of the ball when Bonifacio Lain tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Racing de Bavio's Rosendo Asteri got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Lain to make the kick off. The supporters of Shurima FC booed when Racing de Bavio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Rogelio Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
