Florentino Salvator dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Silvio Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Caitano. Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvio Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Hermengildo Estebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Titanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Estebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ's zone, Gustavo Luar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Caitano came out of the goal and Gustavo Luar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Eriberto Cutberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Atlético Titanes's Florentino Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Munio in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Anibal Caitano managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Club Atlético Titanes's Hermengildo Estebe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Gustavo Luar fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Titanes's protests and gave Gustavo Luar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ booed when Club Atlético Titanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Oinatz in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Estebe in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Caitano saved Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54thth minute of the game Hermengildo Estebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nueva Alianza ᶠᶜ's Anibal Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Hermengildo Estebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Caitano was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Dionisio Toli hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Esteban Lope could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Florentino Salvator made a huge save. Silvio Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Gustavo Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 83 played minutes, Club Atlético Titanes's Hermengildo Estebe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anibal Caitano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Titanes reached it. If Hermengildo Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Caitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
