The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Osvaldo Azibar hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Benjamin Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fan Peng Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Leobardo having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Marcelo Edwardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. aLLá FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos Aires Bagdad the free kick. After 14 played minutes aLLá FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Edwardo. The audience was convinced that Fan Peng Zhen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Leobardo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Benjamin Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todor Kilev in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Buenos Aires Bagdad's Fan Peng Zhen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Leobardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, aLLá FC's Eulalio Nuno got a free kick in the 36th minute. aLLá FC's Benjamin Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Peng Zhen in the 38th minute of play. Luciano Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Romelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Saturnino Romelio made the kick off in the second half. When Osvaldo Azibar came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the aLLá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Azibar couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes of play aLLá FC's Marcelo Edwardo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 59th match minute, aLLá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Argenis in the 60th minute of play. aLLá FC's Benjamin Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Peng Zhen in the 61st minute of play. But to his dismay, Fan Peng Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A sloppy throw-in by Nicolas Bihar in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by aLLá FC's Natalio Bento. Osvaldo Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luciano Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Osvaldo Azibar fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored aLLá FC's protests and gave Osvaldo Azibar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, aLLá FC's Osvaldo Azibar got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Osvaldo Azibar sped through Buenos Aires Bagdad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Goyo.
