Maximiliano Miliano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Carolo Cayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Furman in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Tavio in the 53rd minute of play forced Tapones de punta FC's goalkeeper Gregorio Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Abecia in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Cayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carolo Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Abecia in the 69th minute of the match. Carolo Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Abella in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Julian Afonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Lizbeth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Tapones de punta FC made a substitution. Francisco Alfonso replaced Rene Raphael. 82 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Miliano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Douglas Haig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapones de punta FC the free kick. Maximiliano Miliano kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Carolo Cayo was a little too slow when Bruno Abecia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-3. If Bruno Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Ermano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Eugenio Manuelo in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tapones de punta FC's Ezequiel Chan. Tapones de punta FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
