Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Riachuelo FC's Edgard Montxo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo FC's eAntonio Antonacci got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Jorge Bikendi in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 1910's Cirilo Cortez. After a defensive mix-up in Riachuelo FC's zone, Damian Bordat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The supporters of 1910 booed when Riachuelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Bikendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Edgard Montxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Normando. 1910's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Montxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 46 minutes of play, Riachuelo FC's eAntonio Antonacci made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Normando was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Gregory stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Riachuelo FC's Narciso Hever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Gregory in the 52nd minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Riachuelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Orlan to maneuver through the defense. When Norberto Gregory came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the 1910 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Gregory couldn't finish the play. Damian Bordat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Hever read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute eAntonio Antonacci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Normando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Norberto Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1910's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Gregory was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Hever breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Riachuelo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
