In a very dangerous position, a player in FUNKYMusic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 16th minute Telaritos were awarded a corner. Evelio Gurutz went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in FUNKYMusic's zone, Elpidio Lluis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Baudelio came out of the goal and Elpidio Lluis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Amato hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Guido Baudelio had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Niceto Franco from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Haroldo Caitano struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Arturo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FUNKYMusic. Rodolfo Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Victorino Roldanillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Telaritos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rodolfo Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Telmo having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Telaritos got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Roldanillo. Haroldo Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Arturo Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo Caitano was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Haroldo Caitano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Caitano got free with Arturo Telmo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FUNKYMusic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Lluis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The Telaritos support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
