When Maximo Arano came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Menucos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Arano couldn't finish the play. Maximo Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Menucos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Lano to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Filiberto Patxi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ampallo's Baldomiro Colon. Baldomiro Colon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Menucos defense, Camilo Dorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Beturian. The Menucos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Beturian should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Roland was the one to do the kick off. Maximo Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60thth minute of the game Angelino Roland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menucos's Mariano Beturian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximo Arano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 73rd play minutes Atilano Lano shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Baldomiro Colon and just under the crossbar into goal. Baldomiro Colon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Menucos's Mariano Beturian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Angelino Roland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Beturian. The goal made the score 2-4. Nicolas Iturri's late challenge caught a Menucos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Iturri helped the player get up and apologised. Nicolas Iturri kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Camilo Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Beturian having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Roland in the 97th minute of play forced Menucos's goalkeeper Mariano Beturian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Menucos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ampallo's performance. The match ended with a win for Ampallo.
