Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gambeta Palomera FC's Rene Jakue started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Segundo Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Jakue in the 5th minute of the match. Eliseo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Breogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes of play, Cachorros F.C.'s Pablo Breogan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Nataniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Porfirio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Adrian Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gambeta Palomera FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Weterio in the 17th minute. After taking down the ball on Gambeta Palomera FC's corner Ivan Weterio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Segundo Bidari quite easily take care of the ball. Cachorros F.C.'s Segundo Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Jakue in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Cecilio Eutropio had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Gavino Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachorros F.C.'s protests and gave Gavino Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cachorros F.C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gavino Fliz hit a great ball. Gambeta Palomera FC's Omar Odilon got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 27th minute of the match Gavino Fliz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gavino Fliz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 28th match minute, Cachorros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Fliz to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Gambeta Palomera FC's Rene Jakue sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Segundo Bidari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eleuterio Madeo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Madeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the match, Cachorros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Jakue came free, but Segundo Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Omar Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Omar Odilon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gambeta Palomera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 47 played minutes Cachorros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Etxekopar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Porfirio to make the kick off. Osvaldo Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Bidari having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cachorros F.C.'s zone, Omar Odilon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Bidari came out of the goal and Omar Odilon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Bidari didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. When Osvaldo Mincho fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gambeta Palomera FC's protests and gave Osvaldo Mincho a yellow card for diving instead. Pablo Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Pablo Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes, Gambeta Palomera FC's Ivan Weterio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Segundo Bidari came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gambeta Palomera FC reached it. If Omar Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Gambeta Palomera FC's Ivan Weterio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cachorros F.C..
