Camilo Dorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ampallo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Javier Soter hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Ampallo's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Jakue came free, but Baldomiro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gambeta Palomera FC's Rene Jakue got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gambeta Palomera FC were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Ampallo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Weterio took the corner. The corner ended in Ivan Weterio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ampallo's Baldomiro Colon did a great save. A hard and well directed shot from Israel Urki led 30 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Gambeta Palomera FC's Eliseo Nataniel became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Eliseo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Dorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Orzaize during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivan Weterio's late challenge caught a Ampallo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Weterio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, one of Gambeta Palomera FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gambeta Palomera FC. Omar Odilon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Baldomiro Colon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gambeta Palomera FC. After 47 minutes of play, Ampallo's Angelino Roland made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Nataniel was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Jakue made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ampallo's Angelino Roland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eliseo Nataniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Norberto Jerold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampallo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gambeta Palomera FC the free kick. The referee gave Gambeta Palomera FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Weterio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ampallo's Baldomiro Colon. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Omar Odilon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambeta Palomera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Odilon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Jakue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Colon having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Gambeta Palomera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Weterio to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Israel Urki sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gambeta Palomera FC's Eliseo Nataniel didn't even have to move. Eliseo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Eliseo Nataniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ampallo's Camilo Dorio got a good chance for a goal in the 102nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Gambeta Palomera FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ampallo's performance. The match ended with a win for Ampallo.
