U21 booed when El decano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Alejo Hibai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El decano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Hibai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El decano's Alejandro Sustrai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save El decano from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bazinga! U21's Oscar Iraido got a free kick in the 40th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Joanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, El decano's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Joanes came free, but Alejandro Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Oier in the 54th minute of play forced El decano's goalkeeper Alejandro Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Bazinga! U21 got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Blai. Hermengildo Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bartolo Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Naldo having to interfere. Hermengildo Argoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Hibai in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bartolo Naldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alejo Hibai struck a weak shot in the 94th minute.
