Ladislao Mannuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Leo Damario made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pablo Balendin fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 54th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Mannuel in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Damario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Canaya Fulbo Clú booed when Piedritas United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Osorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Burni hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Ciro Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Damario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Mannuel in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Ladislao Mannuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piedritas United's Leo Damario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Atilano Socorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Mannuel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Damario was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Ladislao Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
