Rene Banegas started the match with the kick off. If Inocencio Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Lehoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Columbo went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Lavalle getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arnoldo Iaki hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Inocencio Orlondon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariño AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Orlondon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Lehoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 played minutes Lavalle got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Maore. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pablo Columbo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Lehoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Banegas in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Iraunkor saved Mariño AFC from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Mariño AFC's Pablo Columbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Lehoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 35 minutes, Siro Tolino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lavalle and the Mariño AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Siro Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Inocencio Orlondon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Lehoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Orlondon in the 40th minute of play forced Lavalle's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Inocencio Orlondon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Osvaldo Lehoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariño AFC.

The wind increased when Pablo Columbo made the kick off in the second half. If Inocencio Orlondon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariño AFC's Ismael Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Herauso in the 58th minute of play. Ismael Iraunkor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Herauso in the 65th minute of the match. When Siro Tolino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. In the 69th minute, Siro Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Lavalle's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Orlondon. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Aureo during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lavalle's Edelmiro Aureo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lavalle's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Orlondon got free with Osvaldo Lehoi in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Lehoi having to interfere. Silverio Sanduru's late challenge caught a Lavalle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Sanduru helped the player get up and apologised. Silverio Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Lavalle's Osvaldo Lehoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Lavalle from getting a goal against them. Osvaldo Lehoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Orlondon in the 90th minute. The Lavalle fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Lavalle's Salvador Herauso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Lavalle fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mariño AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
