Rotwein FC's Amado Sotil got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Ruben Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rotwein FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Weterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Anjuli's Jonas Abreu got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Anjuli's zone, Ruben Weterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Machado came out of the goal and Ruben Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Amado Sotil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Olando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Sotil during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Amado Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rotwein FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Sotil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Amado Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Sotil struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Luis Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rotwein FC. Luis Machado made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Amado Sotil sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Sotil to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Anjuli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. Amado Sotil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Ciro Jakes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Sidro. Rotwein FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Jakes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Sotil in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Machado saved Anjuli from getting behind. After 76 minutes of play, Anjuli's Ciro Jakes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Sidro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Israel Olando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delmiro Sidro came out and tried to block the shot, but Israel Olando slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 84th minute. Anjuli's Anibal Bento shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Delmiro Sidro but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Weterio during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rotwein FC's Ruben Weterio got a free kick in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Sotil in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Rotwein FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Amado Sotil hit a great ball. Luciano Hotz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Rotwein FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Anjuli to win.
