Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ulises Lastur started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, A. D. Berazategui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Martxot to maneuver through the defense. When Ulises Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Garupá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Lastur couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Eguerdi having to interfere. Ulises Lastur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Eguerdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the A. D. Berazategui defense, Marcelo Gaueko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Eguerdi. The A. D. Berazategui fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Eguerdi should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Ulises Lastur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Eguerdi. A. D. Berazategui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Lastur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ulises Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Eguerdi having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Gaueko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Eguerdi was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 48 played minutes A. D. Berazategui got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Dodorol. Juan Eguerdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Lastur in the 49th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 57 played minutes Garupá got a freekick which was hit by Marco Mannuel. After some careless play in the Garupá defense, Albano Tab kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Fix. The Garupá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Fix should have stopped the shot. If Albano Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcelo Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ulises Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garupá's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Garupá's Celedonio Selmo got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 80th minute of the match Sergio Gotzon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Eguerdi skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Juan Eguerdi managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Garupá's Marcelo Gaueko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 83 minutes into the match, Ulises Lastur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Eguerdi, 2-3. If Marcelo Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, A. D. Berazategui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Dodorol to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Garupá had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
