Modesto Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prospero Gonsalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ezequiel Lain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Jatsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Ceandro lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tristeza Nao Tem Fim! The referee gave Fierreros FC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Camilo Gipuzkoa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's Ezequiel Lain. 1-2. Fierreros FC's attentive Gabriel Medardo managed to snatch the ball when Mariano Osoitz made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Arsenio Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Cordarin having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Anselmo Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fierreros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tristeza Nao Tem Fim the free kick. Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's Roque Gonza was substituted for Eriberto Paulin. Anselmo Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Camilo Gipuzkoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fierreros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when David Jatsu made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Jatsu got free with Ezequiel Lain in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ezequiel Lain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Gipuzkoa in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Prospero Gonsalvo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tristeza Nao Tem Fim's Ezequiel Lain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Tristeza Nao Tem Fim from getting a goal against them. If Prospero Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Fierreros FC's Dionisio Pabla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fierreros FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
