Guido Orixe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Birjaio in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Domingo Tolino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Residentes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12thth minute of the game Edgard Birjaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Vasquitos FC's Guido Orixe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Los Vasquitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Liher. After 19 played minutes, Deportivo Residentes's Samuel Martxot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guido Orixe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Residentes reached it. When Deportivo Residentes's Domingo Tolino in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Remigio Oinaz's shot from long distance in the 27th minute was not bad at all, but Deportivo Residentes's Ceferino Gustau knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The supporters of Los Vasquitos FC booed when Deportivo Residentes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Jeremias Eusko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guido Orixe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgard Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Orixe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Birjaio in the 33rd minute of the match. Edgard Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Orixe having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Domingo Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Residentes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Birjaio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Domingo Tolino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Residentes and the Los Vasquitos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Residentes getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Guido Orixe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Birjaio in the 70th minute of the match. If Domingo Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Birjaio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Residentes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Vasquitos FC.
