Alberto Di Matteo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Guido Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Jardón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Ciro Lucado scored to the left of an out of position Modesto Justin, making the score, 1-1. Guido Basajaun charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Basajaun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guido Basajaun hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Eje del Norte's goalkeeper Alberto Di Matteo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Naldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, El Eje del Norte's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ezequiel Enmanuel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Naldo in the 54th minute of play forced Jardón's goalkeeper Modesto Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jardón's Conrado Cambranes got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Jardón's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Lucado came free, but Modesto Justin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
