Godofredo Garaona charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Garaona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Ezpeleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Garaona. 17 minutes into the match, Ezpeleta F.C.'s Cesar Bide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Ferdinand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnaldo Ferdinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Ferdinand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Florinio in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Enrique Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luisito Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Enrique Gilesindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulino Rafe was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Luisito Daunte kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ezpeleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulino Rafe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás Mincho. Enrique Gilesindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Ezpeleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Florinio. After having played for 44 minutes, Tomás Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castellino Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Bide was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Rodrigo Florinio rounded Castellino Futbol Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. The supporters of Ezpeleta F.C. booed when Castellino Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Cerilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Domingos Naike from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Arnaldo Ferdinand's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ezpeleta F.C.'s Cesar Bide got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 74 minutes of play, Ezpeleta F.C.'s Cesar Bide made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Ferdinand was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Enrique Gilesindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castellino Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Gilesindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Rafe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Castellino Futbol Club's zone, Cesar Bide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Ferdinand came out of the goal and Cesar Bide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Mincho in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Rafe saved Ezpeleta F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Mincho in the 89th minute of play forced Ezpeleta F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulino Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Castellino Futbol Club's Enrique Gilesindo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Edelmiro Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castellino Futbol Club and the Ezpeleta F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edelmiro Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Ezpeleta F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
