Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Belasko to make the kick off. The supporters of Tinajeros AFC booed when Puyel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puyel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tinajeros AFC the free kick. In the 77th minute of the match Ali Galip Arslan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Urtzi skillfully saved the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Puyel's Marcelino Lizbeth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Terciero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Arnoldo Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
