Paulino Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Laurin in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Ezpeleta F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Iker Gonchan came free, but Paulino Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Iker Gonchan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Rafe. Ezpeleta F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Gonchan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 37 minutes into the game, Puyel's Romeo Laurin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 40th minute, Luisito Daunte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Urtzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 46 played minutes, Puyel's Romeo Laurin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulino Rafe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puyel reached it. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Daunte was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Paulino Rafe managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Puyel's Iker Gonchan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Florinio in the 54th minute of play forced Puyel's goalkeeper Gustavo Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luisito Daunte came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ezpeleta F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Daunte couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Daunte, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Luisito Daunte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ezpeleta F.C. booed when Puyel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes, Emanuel Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puyel and the Ezpeleta F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emanuel Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Gustavo Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
